Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia Azmi (born April 10, 1986) is a model who later became an actress from India she primarily appeared on Hindi films. In 2004, Ayesha Takia was awarded the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her performance as a star in Taarzan The Wonder Car which was her first acting role. Her later appearances are Paathshaala (2009) Wanted (2010) Salaam-E-Ishq (2007, 2008) as well as Socha Na Tha (2010). The first appearance was a commercial for the popular health drink Complan. In their iconic commercial called I'm a Complan boy. Complan girl alongside Bollywood superstar Shahid Kapoor. In the song of remix Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin her did appear. The popularity of the track throughout India throughout its remix phase brought her fame. Then, she began receiving offers for Bollywood film projects. Takia was late in releasing Taarzan The Wonder Car, which had been intended for Socha Na Tha. However the production issues delayed the release. Ayesha demonstrated her courage when she criticized her father-in the law Samajwadi Party Samajwadi Party MP Abu Azmi on the punishment of the rape victim. When she participated in the PETA India advertisement, she issued the public announcement that she was a vegan. She appeared in the 2006 list of most desirable Indian women.
