Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada, and is now American. There are more than 20 albums that were released by her. Her songs are classified by the label as folk or alternative rock. But, they incorporate elements of hip-hop music, jazz and punk. Ani Difranco is considered to be a feminist legend and a Grammy award winner. Being one of the early female musicians in the 1990s, DiFranco founded her record label. DiFranco was born on September 23, 1970 in New York City, York. The singer is well-known for her Little Folksinger songs, however she's collaborated with many artists and genres including Pete Seeger to Chuck D. New Orleans is her home.
